Reel Weekends #9: Alvin and the Chipmunks 3

Hi, everyone! Sorry for the delay of this post.  Thanks to those who joined last week…I have not blog hopped yet, but will do right after I am done with this 9th edition of Reel Weekends!

My share for this week is Alvin and the Chipmunks 3: Chipwrecked.

 Playing around while aboard a cruise ship, the Chipmunks and Chipettes accidentally go overboard and end up marooned in a tropical paradise. Join Alvin, Simon and Theodore with the Chipettes in their ultimate island adventure!

Personally,  I still prefer the first two Chipmunks movies over this one, but the kids loved it so much they had to watch it three times.

Hope your kids will enjoy this film as much as my kids have.

Heidi Klum and Seal to divorce

Super model Heidi Klum and musician husband, Seal, are set to file for divorce at the Los Angeles Superior Court this coming week.

The couple has three children together: Henry Günther, 6, Johan Riley, 5, and Lou, 2.

There have been no details from their reps regarding the details of the divorce, but it’s sad that another celebrity couple had to end a 6-year marriage at the beginning of the year.

“Irreconcilable differences” is the main reason for the divorce, according to Klum.

The couple were well-known for renewing their wedding vows ever year in lavish ceremonies, so the news about the split is quite a shock to their fans.

 

 

Reel Weekends #8: Dolphin Tale

Hi and welcome to another round of Reel Weekends.  Thanks to those who joined last week.  My share for this week would be a great movie for the family called “Dolphin Tale”.

Based on a true story, this movie is about a dolphin named Winter whose tail had to be cut off because of excessive infection she had  when she was caught in a crab trap.

The family drama film stars Harry Connick, Jr., Ashley Judd and Morgan Freeman.  Heartwarming movie, a must-see for the family.
