Reel Weekends #9: Alvin and the Chipmunks 3

Hi, everyone! Sorry for the delay of this post.  Thanks to those who joined last week…I have not blog hopped yet, but will do right after I am done with this 9th edition of Reel Weekends!

My share for this week is Alvin and the Chipmunks 3: Chipwrecked.

 Playing around while aboard a cruise ship, the Chipmunks and Chipettes accidentally go overboard and end up marooned in a tropical paradise. Join Alvin, Simon and Theodore with the Chipettes in their ultimate island adventure!

Personally,  I still prefer the first two Chipmunks movies over this one, but the kids loved it so much they had to watch it three times.

Hope your kids will enjoy this film as much as my kids have.

Reel Weekends #8: Dolphin Tale

Hi and welcome to another round of Reel Weekends.  Thanks to those who joined last week.  My share for this week would be a great movie for the family called “Dolphin Tale”.

Based on a true story, this movie is about a dolphin named Winter whose tail had to be cut off because of excessive infection she had  when she was caught in a crab trap.

The family drama film stars Harry Connick, Jr., Ashley Judd and Morgan Freeman.  Heartwarming movie, a must-see for the family.

Reel Weekends#7: Courageous

Hi guys and welcome to another week of Reel Weekends. Thanks to those who joined last week!

 

My share for this week is the movie “Courageous”. This is a heart-warming story of 4 men who serve as police officers.  As far as their jobs are concerned, they are well-trained, brave and focused.  But at the end of the day, they face a challenge that none of them are prepared to tackle: Fatherhood.

One of them loses a daughter and does his best to win his teen-age son’s rebellious heart, another stands as a man for her teen age daughter who was beginning to wander her way…  Another faces the challenge of raising his son alone… and join another man’s journey in reuniting with the daughter he never wanted to have.

From the creators of “Fireproof” and “Facing the Giants”, this movie is another hit and one that your family would surely love.  View the cast of “Courageous” here.
